To avoid getting fat you need to eat healthy and stay away from foods with fat in them like Oreos and chocolate cake and candy and you need to eat healthy things like salad and vegetables and fruit

Making good food decisions requires hard work and effort. You should make a chart based on the nutrition facts. Good foods like vegetables, fruits, grains, meats, and dairies are good for you. Things with high calories, fat, and sugar are not good for you. These items include, gravy, cookies, mayonnaise, and tartar sauce. For most school age kids they would need about 1600-2200 calories per day. If kids do all of these steps then they will maintain a healthy lifestyle.

You can make healthy choices by knowing how many calories are in it and if it is a healthy snack or not. Protein helps you build muscles and they repair cells that's why you need to eat something that has a lot of protein. Calories aren't bad for you.Your body need calories for energy but eating to many calories and not burning enough calories can lead to weigh gain. Most foods and drinks contain calories. So that why you should all ways look the calories before you eat or buy something to be on a healthy weight.

Staying healthy is an important part of your life. Burning calories is a good way of of staying healthy. Healthy foods like Fruits, vegetables, and breads are the way to go for loosing weight. Different genders needs a different amount of calories a day. Kids need more calories when they are active. They could need 2,500 to 3,000 calories a day. If you eat more calories than your body needs the leftover calories turn into fat. Young or old burning calories and staying active is the way to stay healthy.

Choosing healthy foods greatly effects your daily life. Eating balanced meals that contain protein, dairy, grain, fruit, and vegetables will reduce your risk of disease and help control weight. Many people believe that to be healthy, you must diet. That is not necessarily the case. Cutting out junk foods like soda, chips, and fast food and making healthy choices will keep you healthy and fit as a kid. Some kids need to avoid certain foods because of health issues. Making choices that will still give you the benefits of these foods you may be missing out on will keep your plate balanced and your body healthy. Obesity is a major problem in the US, but could easily be controlled by healthy eating and exercising. The main way to keep your body lean and healthy in burning more calories than you consume. In summary, making healthy choices and eating a balanced diet will affect you in the long run and will increase your quality of life.

It tells you what is in the food that you are eating. It usually tells you by serving size, and it will give a specific serving size. Follow the serving size because it keeps your diet average. Look at your calories on the nutrition facts. Calories aren't bad for you. Your body needs calories for energy. But eating too many calories, and not burning enough of them off through exercising, can lead to weight gain, so watch your calories. You can also look at the protein on the label. You need protein, but not a lot, too much protein is hard on the kidneys. Look for added sugars. Some healthful foods, such as yogurt and spaghetti sauce, can be quite high in sugar, so look at the sugar content in Nutrition Facts. Also watch what you drink. Soda is not the best thing to drink every day. It is okay to have soda on occasion, just make sure you look at the label to see if it is healthy. Milk is a great drink to have. Milk comes in more varieties than just white and chocolate! Skim milk and 1% milk have the least fat, so they're better to drink, while 2% milk has a little more fat, so it's not the best milk to drink. There are many more ways to control what you eat, just make sure you always look at the label before you eat or drink.

These nutrients include protein, carbohydrates, fat, water, vitamins, and minerals.To avoid fat and increasing weight you should not eat french fries, whole milk, hot dogs, cookies and regular soda. To be healthy you should eat fruits, vegetables and low fat milk. Calories aren't bad for you. Your body needs calories for energy. But eating too many calories — and not burning enough of them off through activity — can lead to weight gain.

Making healthy food choices gives you energy. Everyone's nutritional needs are different. Consider reading both the nutrition facts and the list of ingredients when you buy something. Choose foods that have good fats that are not so much bad fats. Cutting fat will certainly help you cut calories, but you have to make sure your getting enough good fats, but not too much bad fats. Make sure your getting enough protein, because it helps you build your muscle strength. Also look at foods with added sugar. Healthy foods like spaghetti sauce and yogurt have quite high sugars so look at the sugar content in nutrition facts. Make sure you check sodium content. Sodium increases your blood pressure. Look for foods in high potassium. Potassium is important to athletes because they lose it through perspiration. Potassium helps lower your blood pressure. Getting rid of calories is not easy, but there are ways that people can stay healthy. For example a way to stay healthy is exercise, there are many different ways to exercise like jogging, playing sports, and even dancing. Another way of staying healthy is by always eating a healthy breakfast, because if you don't your appetite becomes larger and your craving for food becomes bigger. Also a way to stay healthy is by drinking water can also be healthy because it can help us by making our skin color look great and it is good for your kidney if people drink about 8 glasses of water that can help us with our health.
