You can and should use your resources to answer this post, in paragraph form. I am still looking for great topic sentences, that let me know that I will be reading a compare and contrast piece.

Molecules and Compounds are different because a molecule can be two or more atoms of the same element. Compounds have to be two or more atoms of at least two different elements.

I completely agree with this.

A compound and a molecule are alike and different. The molecule is the smallest part of a compound. They are different because they compound is two or more elements, and a molecule is just one of those. They are alike because they both have the same thing. A compound has a molecule. A molecule, well, has a molecule (it is a molecule). They also are both technically made up of atoms. As you can see, they are alike and different.

I completely agree, great job on setting it up. I like how you had a little joke in there! :)

When comparing and contrasting things, I usually look for their differences and what the things/people have in common. A compound and a molecule are different because a molecule is the smallest unit of the compound. Which means a molecule in INSIDE of a compound. A compound is a pure substance made of two or more elements that are chemically combined!

A molecule is formed when two or more atoms join together chemically. A compound is a molecule that contains at least two different elements. All compounds are molecules but not all molecules are compounds.

Molecules and compounds are basically the same thing. The only difference is while every compound is a molecule, not every molecule is a compound. This is why, all molecules have to be two or more atoms, but can be of the same element. On the other hand compounds also have to be made of two or more elements, but has two have two or more elements in them. These are compares and contrasts of compounds and molecules.

A molecule, is the small unit, and it is made out of atoms, bonded together. A compound is a pure substance and it's two or more element, chemically combined.

There are no similarities in a compounds and molecules but there is some differences. A compound is a substance made up of two or more separate elements combined together. A mixture is a group of atoms that are chemically bonded.

Compound are molecules but not all molecules are compounds.

Molly, I don't agree that they don't have any similarities. A compound contains the molecule, and a molecule is a molecule, they are both made up of atoms. I do agree with your differences though.

Compounds are made of two or more elements. While molecules are made of elements. Compounds are chemically combined. But molecules are chemically bonded. Both are made of elements. Compounds are chemical substance. Although molecules are one unit of compound. But both have to do with matter.

A compound and a molecule can seem alike but they have some differences. A molecule is the smallest part of a compound. When a compound is two or more elements. That is only one of the differences. They are alike because they both have molecules. Also they are both made up of atoms, which is another comparison. In conclusion, Compounds and Molecules seem the same but have few differences as well.

Molecules are made up of at least two different atoms of an element. A compound is made of molecules. A compound is made of two or more elements. So a compound and a molecule are very similar. One difference is a compound is always two different elements together. A molecule can be the same element together just two or more atoms of the element.

The difference between a molecule and a compound is that a compound is a group of substances put together from separated elements.A molecule is a group of atoms bonded together representing a chemical compound.

2/11/2014 02:28:30 am
Compounds and molecules are very much related, but they are different at the same time. All compounds are molecules, but molecules are not always compounds. This is because a compound is 2 different molecules chemically combined. A molecule does not always have to be a compound because it does not always have to be combined with another molecule. A compound is always two molecules chemically combined, which means that a compound is always a molecule. A molecule can be by itself, though, because it is not always formed into a compound. In summary, a compound always is made of molecules, but molecules are not always compounds.

Compare and contrast the characteristics of elements, compound and molecules. The differences between compare and contrast. Compare explains how two items are similar, and Contrast emphasizes the differences rather than the similarities. The differences between a compound and a molecule. A molecule is formed when two or more atoms join together chemically. A compound is a molecule that contains at least two different elements.

Compounds and molecules are the same thing but different at the same time. Molecules are the smallest unit of a compound. Compounds can be broken down to elements but then the elements can't be broken down. In conclusion compounds and molecules the same thing but at the same time they aren't. Compounds and molecules have similarities and differences, and I am going to share some with you. One difference is that compounds are made of elements, while molecules are made of atoms. One similarity is that they are both made of two or more things combined together. Another difference is the size. Molecules are smaller than compounds. There are similarities and differences between compounds and molecules, and now you know some.

Molecules are the smallest unit of a compound . Compounds are a pure substance made of two or more elements that are chemically combined . They are alike in many different ways . Molecules bond together just like compounds make bonds . so at the same time they are alike but still different.

Actually, a compound is a type of molecule. A molecule is formed when two or more atoms of an element chemically join together.

Compound and molecule have a lot in common. Both compound and molecule have atom in it. Also the have a lot of atom in it. One thing they don't have in common is compound have two or more atom in it. Plus a molecule bonds atom.

Compounds and molecules have their same and different qualities. Molecules are different from compounds because molecules have atoms that are bonded but compounds are chemically combined. Compounds are molecules but molecules aren't compounds and really they are the same because they both have atoms. That is how they are the same and different. 2/11/2014 02:35:08 am
What is the difference between a compound and a molecule? A compound is a substance made by combining elements. A molecule is is created by atoms that are bonded together. Those are the differences between a Compound and a Molecule.

Potential energy and kinetic energy have some similarities and some differences when there is more potential energy there is less kinetic energy. And when there is less kinetic energy there is more potential energy. For example, when a roller coaster car loses it's height it gains speed. Potential energy transforms into kinetic energy.
